I am always being asked about the different types of Radon mitigation systems. Today I'll talk about sub slab depressurization.Sub-slab depressurization systems are installed in buildings with slab (concrete) floors
.First an hole is wet or dry cored (drilled) through the concrete slab.A pvc pipe is extended through the hole, sealed and attached to a fan located on the exterior, garage or attic crawlspace creating an vacuum under the slab. The pvc pipe is extended to the roof line to dispel the harmful radon gas. Sub-slab depressurization systems must operate continuously to be effective. They use little electricity, are relatively quiet and require little maintenance. You sho uld always use a certified contractor like RadonP ro Inc for installation. We service all of Erie and Niagara county including Buffalo,Clarence,East Aurora and Elma
